No one is quite sure of what M.O.S stands from but orignally it stood for Members Of Satan (which is a bit harsh if you ask me). Other sergested names include Monkeys Of Space, Ministry Of Sound and Mums On Steroids.

M.O.S was started up in 1998 by the founders Legion and Alien as a Quake Newbie clan. Within spawned alot of top talented members. Mos has been in all of the NZ gibs compertitions except for gibs2k which players spread throughout the other clans. The clan was lead by Legion and Alien but after a disapointing clan game vs Pussy where neither leader turned up the clan was taken over by Mace and has proven to be a top class leader even to this date. With the help of his handy man Chaos187 to controll the games MoS grew to become a powerful clan.

After Gibs 1999 players disapeared and were never seen again. Intrest lost and the clan broke up. Now Mos is back to spread some chear to who ever wants to play. Due to the long await of the new cheat free client 50% of the Mos players have either left gamming all together or have joined other clans. More into the smaller guys the MoS clan stands up for the little guy in the NZ VQ scene.
